GPT-6.1 Sol is here: keep complex coding and long projects moving
Less time repeating project background, more time moving work forward. Check Work / Codex access and compare Plus or Pro by real usage.
OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Sol on September 29, 2026, for complex coding and multi-step work. GPT-6 Sol remains a separate model, so their access and quotas should not be treated as identical. When coding changes stretch across a large project, repeated explanations and disconnected steps can slow everything down. Check GPT-6.1 Sol in Codex for understanding the project, investigating issues, making changes and validating the result. In ChatGPT Work, consider it for tasks that combine material, analysis and multiple steps. Compare Plus for everyday development. If sustained Codex, coding or research work repeatedly runs into limits, compare the current Pro capacity and product-specific after-sales terms. Choose a plan that helps your recurring work move forward, with CNY ordering and trackable progress. At launch, GPT-6.1 Sol rolled out in ChatGPT Work and Codex for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu; it was not in regular Chat. Go and Free were not included. Enterprise access may require an administrator. The target account, workspace and current OpenAI interface determine actual access, tools and quotas. ChatGPT subscriptions and API usage are billed separately. Buying a subscription does not include API usage or guarantee immediate model access. GuideWhale provides independent third-party subscription assistance and is not affiliated with OpenAI. The current product description and recorded order determine price, fulfillment and after-sales coverage.
Product availability, price, eligibility and warranty remain specific to the current product page and recorded order.
